Shirley: Well, it may be on the card, but, I'd have to find it in the book because I don't remember.

I would love to be on that show just so everytime Elizabeth opened her mouth I could tell her to Shut The Fuck Up.

As they went to commercial you could hear Elizabeth saying that she was gonna find it in the book.

I am using it to sweeten my Breathe Easy/Throat Coat (NOT Honeybush!) teas that I am drinking.
I also add a packet of Emergen-C to each cup of tea.

I am really tired of the way the news keeps spinning this story. (Yes, Jason said it first. And, I really like his slant on it.)

They keep using the term "beaten" or "badly beaten" as if the man was repeatedly punched. No. He was punched once. His head fell against the concrete. That's what killed him.

Sure, he didn't deserve to die. But, nobody is talking about the role he played in his own death.
First, he put traffic cones in the middle of a public street. To protect a garden hose. He was willing to inconvenience anybody that drove down that street just to protect a hose.
Second, he sprayed someone with a hose. Who the fuck thinks that is even remotely ok? And, also, understand that while that is not the kind of "OMG! You tried to kill me!" assault, it is assault, nonetheless.

So, again, he did not deserve to die, but, I am not crying over one less asshole in the world.

ETA: That middle link up there is the worst. But, I'm pretty sure ROBERT L. JAMIESON Jr. is a known idiot. He is likening the dead man to Kristopher Kime. Kristopher was killed when he jumped into a riot to protect someone else, iirc. Defending someone is not the same as dousing someone you're already in an argument with.

I'm stuck drinking hot tea in the middle of Summer in hopes that it will loosen my congestion.
I just made that sound a lot worse than it actually is. The tea is good and it's not even warm in my apartment yet.

I'm fixing myself some Snoqualmie Ice Cream when I happen to look at the ingredients. Corn syrup is listed 5th. After cream, milk, skim milk and sugar. And, they try to call it gourmet. Granted, it is some good ice cream. But, if you're gonna put corn syrup in something, you might as well be making dog shit. That's how much better things taste without it. And, that's not even to mention the adverse health effects it has on so many people.

Still not smoking.

Still walking to work. Sometimes on my way to work I see a boy about 10 walking a pit bull. This is awesome in so many ways. First, pit bulls are scary. I don't give a shit how nice they can be. And, even if this is the nicest pit bull in the world, there is no way in hell that little boy would be able to control it if it decided it wanted to chase something. It's just further proof that by and large* the people that are drawn to pit bulls are idiots. You do not put a little boy in charge of a dog that is at least his size.

*I did not say "all". I know that there are some decent pit bull owners out there.

A little boy got his finger stuck in the conveyor belt at work. His mother was on the phone. It's bad enough that she was on the phone while she was being checked out, but, the fact that her kid got hurt because she wasn't watching him closely? Idiot. He's okay, btw.

Does anybody know how to get a ringtone from iTunes to go to my phone? I paid 99 cents for that fucker. Goddammit! I want it!
