I just spent $958 on a laptop for my mom. And, apparently, nothing makes me want to smoke a cigarette more than playing with a new computer. (Sorry, Mom. I'll do it later.)
I took a shot of Absolut Peach. I'm feeling better now.

Almost a third of that total was the service plan that allows her to crack the monitor, spill coffee on the keyboard and kill the battery.
And, she still can't get online. I'll fix that tomorrow, hopefully.

Peach Vodka is the shit. Although, straight, it burns a little.

Yeah, because silicone chips don't work properly without a nice layer of nicotine on them.

There is still plenty of cat hair in my mom's apartment even though the cat's been gone for months.

I was getting all kinds of jumpy in her apartment because the cigarettes were right there in front of me. Now, with the vodka everything is just nice.

Step away from the cigarettes. I wouldn't even be able to be in your mom's apartment...that is why I quit smoking, the smell of my own cigarettes bothered me and I have zero tolerence for the smell now. I can tell if you smoke generic or name brand.

You will have times when you really want one. I still do after 10 years. Now if I take a hit off someone's cigarette, it tastes awful, your hand stinks and I remember why I quit. Plus, I can't inhale now worth a damn.

I don't think I have bummed a cigarette since the Ash Wednsday earthquake in Seattle.

I so understand reformed smokers now - and have become one. I did a road trip with a friend who still smoked. Everytime we stopped for gas or potty, she smoked and called her girl friend. I thought I was going to throw up from the stench of cigarettes (and she smoked name brand).
